$8.6 million for justice for Black people: Groupe 3737 welcomes the federal investment

Group 3737 welcomes the Government of Canada’s announcement of more than $8.6 million in funding over two years to support 24 projects aimed at Black youth, victims, and survivors, as well as Black individuals navigating the criminal justice system.

This investment, made as part of Canada’s first-ever Justice Strategy for Black Canadians, represents a significant step forward in the fight against racism and systemic discrimination, which have led to the overrepresentation of Black communities in Canada’s criminal justice system.

The 3737 Group reaffirms its commitment to supporting community organizations that work every day to build a more equitable and inclusive society for Black communities in Canada.
