BNFIN – Social and Economic Impact

The Black National Funders Intermediaries Network, BNFIN, comprises four organizations: Black Business Initiative (BBI), the Council for the Advancement of African Canadians in Alberta (Africa Center), Groupe 3737, and Tropicana Community Services. Together, these intermediaries are focused on serving Black communities across Canada through for youth and family programs, technology, business, health, and community-driven initiatives.

The impact of the BNFIN between 2020 and 2024 includes:

  • $200M in current investment
  • $392M generated in revenues
  • Over 1,500 NPOs supported
  • More than 2,900 jobs created
  • 20,130 volunteers
