On July 10, Groupe 3737 took part in the official launch of the Angélique-Latimer Complex, a major project comprising 281 housing units led by the Société d’habitation des communautés noires (SHCN), a member organization of the Sommet Jeunes Afro.
This project represents a concrete opportunity to provide families and young people in Montreal’s Black communities with access to affordable, high-quality housing. Each new unit provides an opportunity for a family to establish roots in a stable living environment that fosters educational success, good health, and economic well-being.
The launch was attended by the Honorable Gregor Robertson, Ms. Karine Boivin Roy, the Honorable Marjorie Michel, as well as Caroline Braun, Nadine Pierre, Neil Armand, Dominique Ollivier, and Josué Corvil, with Groupe 3737 represented by its CEO, Maudeleine Myrthil, EMBA.
Thank you to the Afro Youth Summit and the SHCN for this invitation, and congratulations once again on this important initiative to promote more inclusive housing in Canada.
